Job Summary

TAG (The Afro Hair Goddess Network) is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Marketing Manager to lead its digital presence and community engagement. The ideal candidate will craft innovative campaigns, storytelling, and content that resonate with Gen Z and millennial women, amplifying TAG’s mission of confidence, connection, and empowerment.





Key Responsibilities


Develop and implement holistic social media and content marketing strategies.


Manage day-to-day operations of TAG’s social platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn).


Create and curate visuals, videos, reels, blog posts, and campaigns reflecting TAG’s brand voice.


Collaborate with the TAG Podcast team to drive engagement and brand visibility.


Oversee community engagement and digital activations to foster sisterhood and confidence.


Design and present marketing decks, brand proposals, and digital performance reports.


Track analytics, audience insights, and trends to optimize strategy.


Contribute to creative direction and event design for TAG’s in-person activations.


Work cross-functionally with a global team of creatives and contributors.

Required Qualifications

3–5 years’ experience in Social Media Management, Marketing, or Content Strategy.


Passionate about women’s empowerment, fashion, lifestyle, and wellness.


Skilled in graphic design, copywriting, and video editing (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools).


Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail.


Independent thinker capable of taking initiative with minimal supervision.


Comfortable on camera and representing the TAG brand voice.


Based in Lagos (Island preferred) and available for hybrid collaboration.


Bonus: Experience in Social Media Optimization (SMO) and community analytics.


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.


Proven ability to build and grow digital communities; portfolio or samples of previous campaigns encouraged.
