Business Development Executive

African Industries Group (AIG), a leading global conglomerate with over five decades of sustainable industrial growth and community impact, is seeking an experienced and result-driven Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the company’s market presence in the refractories sector, particularly within industries such as steel, cement, ceramics, and sugar.

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed set targets.
• Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities across target industries.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and clients.
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable product solutions.
• Prepare and deliver professional sales pitches and proposals.
• Negotiate and close profitable business deals.
• Track industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
• Generate inquiries, submit offers, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Oversee smooth order execution and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of proven sales management experience within Cement, Ceramic, Steel, Aluminium, or Chemical industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet targets and close deals effectively.
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.
