Marconi is seeking a proactive Buyer / Procurement Expediter to manage procurement processes and expedite vendor deliveries for project timelines. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant procurement of materials and services in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sectors.

Execute purchase orders according to approved requisitions, budgets, and procedures

Expedite vendor deliveries to meet project schedules

Monitor order status, production progress, inspections, and shipment schedules

Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and project teams for timely receipt of materials

Track procurement milestones and maintain expediting and delivery reports

Resolve supplier delays, shortages, and non-conformances

Ensure completeness and compliance of procurement documentation

Support vendor evaluation and supplier relationship management

Liaise with finance on invoices, GRNs, and payment processing when required

HND / B.Sc in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

3–5 years’ experience in buying, procurement, or expediting roles (EPC, oil & gas, construction, or industrial projects preferred)

Strong knowledge of procurement, expediting, and vendor coordination

Experience managing deliveries, lead times, and resolving supply delays

Good understanding of logistics, inspection, and material receiving processes

Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems

Excellent communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills
