Store Officer

Swift Consulting Limited is recruiting on behalf of its client in the Hospitality Industry for a Store Officer. The role involves managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of supplies, and maintaining accurate records to support smooth restaurant operations.

Receive, inspect, and record all food items, beverages, and restaurant supplies

Ensure proper storage of items in compliance with hygiene and safety standards

Maintain accurate inventory records and regularly update stock cards or systems

Issue items to kitchen and service staff based on approved requisitions

Monitor stock levels and report low or expired items promptly

Prevent loss, damage, or pilferage of store items

Coordinate with procurement and management for timely stock replenishment

Conduct regular stock counts and prepare inventory reports

Minimum of OND or HND; additional qualifications are an advantage

Previous experience as a Store Officer or Storekeeper, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant environment

Basic knowledge of inventory management practices

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards

High level of honesty, reliability, and attention to detail
