Junior Accountant

Laundry King is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial information to support decision-making.

Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial reports

Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments

Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients and suppliers

Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting; monitor budget performance

Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, supplier accounts, and internal records

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits

Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory accounts

Maintain organized financial records and proper documentation for all transactions

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings

Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)

Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
