She Code Africa is seeking an Operations Associate to support day-to-day operational activities, strengthen internal systems, and ensure smooth execution across teams. This role focuses on process efficiency, compliance, and operational support to enable sustainable impact in a remote-first nonprofit environment.
Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and consistency
Assist in developing, documenting, and implementing internal policies and guidelines
Ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support timely execution of programs and initiatives
Manage office operations, event logistics, and program activities
Provide operational support to HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation
Assist in maintaining and improving operational systems, SOPs, and trackers
Availability for occasional local or international travel
Open to fem3le candidates residing in Lagos, Nigeria
2-3 years of experience in operations, administration, or program operations support roles, preferably in nonprofit, startup, or social impact organizations
Strong understanding of operational processes, administrative systems, and internal controls
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Experience coordinating logistics and supporting cross-functional teams
Strong documentation and SOP management skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Trello)
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and follow-through on tasks to completion
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision
High integrity, professionalism, and discretion with sensitive information
