The Retail Sales Associate will provide exceptional customer service, support daily store operations, and help create visually appealing displays. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for assisting customers in selecting and presenting gifts and décor items.
* Welcome customers warmly and provide a friendly shopping experience
* Assist customers in selecting gifts, décor, kitchenware, kids’ items, and specialty products
* Offer product knowledge, recommendations, and creative gift ideas
* Wrap gifts neatly and professionally
* Process sales accurately using the POS system
* Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and product displays
* Restock merchandise and organize stockrooms efficiently
* Create attractive, on-brand product displays and refresh layouts seasonally
* Conduct inventory counts and report stock needs
* Collaborate with team members and communicate store feedback clearly
* Support digital marketing by preparing products for Instagram content and responding to simple online inquiries
* Uphold a positive brand image and professional demeanor at all times
* OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
* Minimum of 2 years retail sales experience, preferably in gift, décor, or home stores
* Customer service training completed
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to curate gifts, wrap items neatly, and manage POS systems
* Excellent organizational, multitasking, and merchandising abilities
* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
* Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
