Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily driver deployments, trip allocations, and return schedules.
Liaise with Lafarge plant authorities to process trip codes, loading instructions, and weighbridge documentation.
Monitor drivers’ conduct, compliance with safety rules, and timely escalation of incidents.
Ensure prompt resolution of operational issues, truck breakdowns, accidents, and client complaints.
Track fleet movement using GPS/telemetry tools and prepare daily reports.
Verify waybills, loading slips, delivery receipts, and other documentation.
Support technical teams in coordinating repairs and maintenance.
Work closely with HR/Admin to enforce discipline among assigned drivers.
Maintain a strong relationship with client representatives.
Required Qualifications
BSc Degree / HND qualification in Business Admin, Logistics, Transport Management or related field.
3 - 5 years of experience in logistics or transport operations.
Strong supervisory skills.
Familiarity with Lafarge operations is an added advantage.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
